Using Of Self-Tuning Controllers Simulink Library For Real-Time Control Of Nonlinear Servo System
The combination of the automatic control theory courses, simulation verification and practical implementation of the designed controller algorithms in real-time conditions is very important for training of the control engineers. This contribution present structure and usage of Self-tuning Controllers Simulink Library (STCSL) for real time control. The STCSL was created for design, simulation ve...
متن کاملAdaptive Simplified Model Predictive Control with Tuning Considerations
Model predictive controller is widely used in industrial plants. Uncertainty is one of the critical issues in real systems. In this paper, the direct adaptive Simplified Model Predictive Control (SMPC) is proposed for unknown or time varying plants with uncertainties. By estimating the plant step response in each sample, the controller is designed and the controller coefficients are directly ca...
متن کاملSelf-optimizing Robust Nonlinear Model Predictive Control
This paper presents a novel method for designing robust MPC schemes that are self-optimizing in terms of disturbance attenuation. The method employs convex control Lyapunov functions and disturbance bounds to optimize robustness of the closed-loop system on-line, at each sampling instant a unique feature in MPC. Moreover, the proposed MPC algorithm is computationally efficient for nonlinear sys...
متن کاملNeuro-predictive control based self-tuning of PID controllers
In this paper we present a new self-tuning procedure for PID controllers based on neuro-predictive control. A finite horizon optimal control problem is solved on-line, permitting to calculate the tuning parameters of the PID controller. The proposed method is implemented on a level-flow pilot plant and a comparison with conventional auto-tuning methods is also given.
متن کاملSpeed-Sensorless Nonlinear Predictive Control of a Squirrel Cage Motor
-This paper presents a nonlinear generalised predictive control scheme for a squirrel cage motor without speed sensor. Some of the difficulties faced are due to uncertainties in the parameters measurements, high cost to obtain state measurements in addition to the inherently non-linear behaviour. The control scheme presented is composed of a positioning predictive control and an open loop obser...
